2. What Data We Collect

This website collects only minimal, anonymised data:

• Page view analytics — via Vercel Web Analytics. This includes the visited URL, referrer, approximate country (derived transiently from your IP address), browser type, and operating system. No cookies are set and no persistent identifier is stored on your device.
• Server / infrastructure logs — Vercel, our hosting provider, automatically records IP addresses and HTTP request metadata for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained according to Vercel's privacy policy.

We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics), social media pixels, or any form of browser fingerprinting.

3. Legal Basis (GDPR)

The processing of the above data is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding aggregated site usage and ensuring the security and stability of our infrastructure. Because Vercel Analytics does not use cookies or persistent identifiers, no consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is required for analytics.

The favorites cookie (see section 5) is set only when you actively choose to favorite a game, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in providing the functionality you requested.

4. Data Processors

We use the following third-party processors who may handle data on our behalf:

• Vercel Inc.(hosting & analytics) — 340 Pine Street, Suite 701, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Data transfers to the USA are covered by Vercel's Data Processing Agreement and Standard Contractual Clauses.

Game rating data is sourced server-side from OpenCritic, game length data from HowLongToBeat, and game catalogue data from the Nintendo eShop. No personal data is shared with any of these services.

5. Cookies

This website uses a single, first-party cookie: favoriteGameIds. It is set only when you click the favorite button to add a game to your "My List." It stores only numeric game identifiers — no personal information. The cookie expires after 1 year and is renewed each time you update your favorites. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings, which will clear your favorites list.

No analytics cookies, session cookies, or third-party cookies are used.

6. Retention

Anonymised analytics data is retained by Vercel for up to 12 months. Server logs are retained according to Vercel's standard operational policy. The favorites cookie is stored on your device for up to 1 year, or until you delete it. We do not store any personal data independently on our own systems beyond what Vercel automatically logs.
